The Studio of AZ Arts & Graphics is most pleased to welcome into our growing Family of Artists, Mini Pal of Gujarat, India.  We are, indeed, privileged to enjoy her delicate...as well as bold images represented in her initial "eclectic mix" of styles and design. We have named it "Exotic Impressions I"

The initial collection offered by our Studio can be found at: Mini Pal Intro Page.

Mini Pal, by profession, is an architect and interior designer. At present, she lives in Gujarat, India. Ms. Pal graduated from the J. J. School of Architecture in Bombay in 1992, and has been in that profession since her graduation.

She is also interested in the Fine Arts...especially painting and pottery. Occasionally, Mini has dabbled in both mediums.  It is her interest in painting that has led her, to keep interpreting on paper, all images that she finds beautiful...amongst those that come to one's mind and also, those that meet the attention of one's 'eye'.  Most of her images are those from Nature...which she believes is astounding in its variety and beauty. Some of her drawings have been done just for the pleasure of it, whereas, some have been done to be used as stationery products which she has been designing for some time now.

Mini has experimented, very briefly, with ceramic pottery...and loved every minute of it and would very much like to seriously indulge herself in that medium when time will allow.

We look forward to more creativity from this lovely and talented woman who 'touches' our 'artistic senses' with her meaningful and colorful interpretations from a culture that is so distant from that of ours...but through the mutual love of the "Fine Arts"...we can be Family...in both hearts and minds. Visit Mini's beautiful designs here on our web site at: Mini Pal Intro Page.

AZ Arts & Graphics welcomes a wonderful series of Appalachian Photography...as seen through the eyes/lenses of Photo Artist Timothy Jones.  His artistic photographs were displayed at the August 04-06, 2000 OASIS Gift Show, Phoenix, Arizona. You may view his work on our site at: Tim Jones Appalachia

Upon graduation from Cumberland College, located in
Williamsburg, Kentucky, with a BS degree in 1975 I
embarked on a teaching career in the Kentucky Public
School System. After 15 years service I retired to
pursue the number one love of my life, Appalachian
photography.

It has always been my desire to showcase the place I
grew up in and a place I have spent my entire life.
Sharing and photographing the splendor and beauty of
Appalachia has been, a continues to be a labor of
love.

It is my goal to share this unique and timeless
collage of natural eloquence that has been stamped and
fingerprinted by our creator. I have previously been
published by Today's Photographer magazine. I have an
active and growing compilation of Appalachina
photography at my website.

I am a freelance photographer in excellent standing
and a member of the International Freelance
Photographers Organization and have been an active
member since 1987. I am also a freelance photographer
on assignment for Today's Photographer magazine even
as I speak.

Colleen Arseth. . .started taking photos on an old 126mm plastic camera her father won in a contest when she was about 10 years old. It became apparent she had a talent for it when her family and vacation photos turned out better than anyone else's.

She turned her passion for photography into a career by attending the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University (ASU)  in Tempe, in the late 1980's. While attending ASU, she did her internship at the Chandler Independent, one thing it taught her was that she didn't have the hardness it took to become a professional photojournalist.

Upon leaving ASU, she worked for Olan Mills Portrait Studios, and then PCA, International, the largest portrait company in the world. While working for PCA, she received two photographer of the month awards, and three other awards for her photography.

In 1996, she left PCA to open Cool Shots by Colleen Photography in Tempe, Arizona. Cool Shots specializes in unique photography on location in people's home, office or outdoors. For more information, you can visit Cool Shots web site at: http://www.csbycolleen.com
